Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi has directed to issue notice to Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam (UPRNN) in the case of incomplete and substandard construction work of ITI buildings. CS has given strict instructions to issue notice for refund of payment due to incomplete and substandard construction works and to register FIR against UPRNN in case of non-compliance of the notice.
Along with this, the Chief Secretary has strictly instructed the Uttarakhand Payjal Nigam to work with a long-term vision and holistic approach in all construction works including ITI protection work. Along with the protection construction works of ITIs, she has also instructed to work on drainage system and boundary wall.
While presiding over the meeting of Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) regarding protection works in ITI Narsan (Haridwar) in the Secretariat, Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi, while approving the project cost of Rs 187.30 lakh, has instructed the Uttarakhand Payjal Nigam to pay special attention to quality and time lines in the construction works. In view of the safety of the students studying in ITI, Chief Secretary Smt. Raturi has instructed to start the construction work after getting the technical test of this project done by the Irrigation Department within 10 days. She has instructed to complete the construction works before the next monsoon season and ensure the safety of the ITI campus.
